3 kids die in Bulacan fire
THREE siblings aged one, three, and six-years-old on Friday died in a fire that razed their home in Purok 4, Bgy. Gatbuca Calumpit, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office (PRO3) director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo, Bulacan police director Col. Franklin Estoro said the kids’ mother, Ann Torres, 32, a manicurist, told police that prior to the fire, she used a candle to light up her sleeping children since there was a power interruption in their area.
The mother then went outside to buy milk. While on her way home, she saw smoke coming from their house
Torres immediately asked help from barangay officials who informed the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Calumpit to put out the fire.
After the BFP declared a fire out, firemen recovered the burned bodies of the three children from the debris.
