Arellano, SSC begin Final Four push

ARELLANO University and San Sebastian, clinging at the middle of the standings, begin their second round push in a key NCAA women’s volleyball match-up today at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

The Lady Chiefs sit in fifth place with a 6-3 record, while the Lady Stags are not far behind at 5-4.

With University of Perpetual Help System Dalta and Mapua dropping their respective second round openers Wednesday, Arellano and San Sebastian will go all-out in the 12 noon match to press their Final Four bids.

The Lady Altas and the Lady Cardinals are in joint third place at 6-3.

Letran and four-peat seeking College of Saint Benilde are in the top two with similar 8-2 records.

Lyceum of the Philippines University, still in the Final Four mix with a 4-6 slate and is three games behind Perpetual and Mapua, shoot for a second straight win against Jose Rizal University at 2:30 p.m.
