
Muntinlupa, Quezon City, Caloocan, Iloilo execs back Camille Villar’s senatorial bid
SENATORIAL candidate Camille Villar got another endorsement from Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon.
Villar thanked Mayor Biazon and the people of Muntinlupa for the support, saying they are very close to her heart since her grandfather, Dr. Filomino Aguilar, was a barrio doctor in Muntinlupa and Las Piñas during his time.
“Kaya naman po, kayo din po ang inspirasyon ko para pagbutihin ang aking pagseserbisyo-publiko,” said Camille, who vows to push for projects and legislation focused on job creation, financial literacy, maternal and reproductive health, housing and education.
Camille’s father, former Senate President Manny Villar, was the lone representative of Muntinlupa and Las Piñas from 1992 to 1998. It was Manny Villar who authored Muntinlupa’s cityhood in 1995.
She added that her mother, Senator Cynthia Villar, was born in the city, and later studied at the Muntinlupa Elementary School.
“Kaya po kapag may pagkakataon po ay hindi ko pinapalampas na makabalik dito at makita po kayong lahat dahil napakalaking bahagi po ng Muntinlupa sa buhay ng aming pamilya,” Camille said.
“Kaya po, asahan niyo pong nandito lamang ako, si Camille Villar, hayaan ninyong maging boses ninyo ako para sama-sama nating maitaguyod ang pag-asenso ng buhay ng ating mga kababayan,” she said. “Yun lamang po at sana po ay magpatuloy kayo na maging inspirasyon ng isa’t isa.”
Belmonte endorses Camille Villar’s senatorial bid in QC
Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte endorsed the senatorial bid of Villar, who campaigned among concerned sectors in the city on Monday.
Grateful for the support, Villar reiterated her commitment to prioritize the welfare of women, youth, and the marginalized sector, and promote better healthcare services and improve education.
Camille Villar joined the conduct of gender and development assembly initiated by the QC government – aimed at advancing gender equality in all sectors of society, including education, employment, healthcare, and political participation.
Camille Villar also listened to the concern of transport groups, including tricycle drivers and operators.
Villar thanked Belmonte for their unwavering support, saying she will always be ready to help the people of Quezon City once she is elected to the Senate.
Quezon City is one of the vote-rich cities in Metro Manila, which accounts for 1,382,018 registered voters based on the records of the Commission on Elections.
Villar gets endorsement from Caloocan political bigwigs
Reelectionist Caloocan City’s 1st district Rep. Oscar Malapitan and local officials endorsed the bid of Nacionalista Party senatorial candidate, Camille Villar, on Saturday less than two months before the May 12, 2025 polls.
Malapitan urged supporters from the city’s 188 barangays to support Villar in her senatorial bid.
“Sa mga taga Caloocan, kami ay nakikiusap na tulungan natin si Camille Villar. Matagal kong nakasama ang kanyang pamilya, mula noon ako’y unang congressman hanggang ngayon, na malaki ang tinutulong sa lungsod ng Caloocan,” Malapitan said in a media interview.
“Kaya eto kami mag-ama, kumakampanya kay Camille dahil talagang marami silang naitulong sa aming mga taga-Caloocan,” he said.
Malapitan’s son, Along, is seeking his second term as mayor.
Also members of of the Nacionalista Party, the Malapitans affirmed support for Villar during a gathering with supporters at the Orient Pearl Seafood located at 10th Avenue in Caloocan City.
Malapitan and Villar, along with local candidates, earlier in the day barnstormed the vote-rich barangays from city hall to the Monumento area.
Villar thanked Malapitan and the rest of the local officials for their boost of support.
She reiterated her commitment to pursue worthy projects and legislation that will put forward the rights of the youth and women as well as those which will protect the interest of majority of the Filipinos.
Based on data from the Commission on Elections, about half of Caloocan City’s 1.66-million population, equivalent to 700,279, are registered voters as of 2022.
Camille Villar gets endorsement from Iloilo local executives
Camille Villar, thanked local officials in Iloilo City for endorsing her senatorial bid, following the start of the campaign for local candidates on Friday.
Speaking before the big crowd during the kick-of rally of Team Uswag at the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, Villar also thanked political kingpin, Mayor Jerry Treñas, and local officials for the warm welcome.
Embodying a winning spirit, Villar joined the Uswag Team — led by mayoral candidate Inday Raisa Treñas and re-electionist Vice Mayor Jeffrey Ganzon — during the proclamation rally, where the local officials vowed to continue championing progress in the southern city.
“Suportahan naton sang todo todo para sa Senado Camille Villar, #66!, Together, we can create positive change! Let’s support Camille Villar for Senator #66 sa ballota. Your vote matters!,” Raisa Treñas said.
“Buligan naton kag botohon sa mayo 12 para sa senador, Camille Villar,” she added.
Villar also reciprocated the kindness of the Uswag Ilonggo party-list, headed by Rep. James “Jojo” Ang, who is rallying for the support of their fellow Kasimanwas come this May 2025 polls.
For her part, Villar vowed not to disappoint, committing to further enhance efforts to provide livelihood, create jobs, and advance women empowerment, promote gender equality and improve education.
“Noon pa man, isinusulong ko na po — mga batas na magtataguyod kabuhayan, magbibigay ng trabaho, magpapaabot ng pangarap na bahay para sa mga Filipino, ipagpapatuloy ko po yan,” she said.
Backed with 15-year experience in public service and the private sector, Villar hopes to bring a new perspective in dealing with current challenges as well as in the crafting of legislation.
“Ako po ang maging bagong boses niyo sa Senado ng sa gayon matugunan natin ang pangangailangan ng bawat pamilyang Filipino,” she said.
“Kaya po, asahan niyo pong nandito lamangako, si Camille Villar, hayaan ninyongmaging boses ninyo ako para sama-samanating maitaguyod ang pag-asenso ng buhay ng ating mga kababayan,” said Villar, who is the youngest among the senatorial candidates for the May 2025 midterm elections.
