THREE classical artists, led by an internationally-respected vocal coach and soprano Jade Riccio, will mesmerise the crowd in a concert on April 2, Wednesday, in Quezon City.

The concert will feature the three classical artists rendering their masterpieces starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Mira Nila Heritage House and Library at 26 Mariposa St., Brgy. Bagong Lipunan, Crame, QC.

Riccio, a Filipina-Italian, is known in the classical music scene for her soothing, mesmerizing voice thus making her a regular performer before a high profile crowd, including former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte and former First Lady Imelda Marcos.

She was a 2024 Hall of Fame awardee, earned a slot in the 2024 Person to Watch: Women Who Made it in Music, Best Classical Performer in 2018 and 2020 and Best Female Crossover Performer in 2019 and 2022.

The soprano is the chief executive officer of Riccio Music and Artistry (RMA) that has so far guided over 400 aspiring singers worldwide to have a quality voice.

Recently, Riccio entered mainstream music. “I’m not limited to soprano and classical music. I also do broadway,” she told the Journal.

She is known as the “Asia’s Jewel” because of her immense talents as soprano, celebrity vocal coach and successful music business.

Her co-artists Arthur Espiritu and Mariel Ilusorio are also talented and perform here and abroad.

Espiritu, a tenor, hails from Morong, Rizal and lists the La Scala award at the Belvedere competition in 2007 as one of his springboards to success.

He has also portrayed leading roles in North America, Europe and Asia.

Ilusorio, a pianist, studied a the Juilliard School of Music in New York. She spent 26 years in the US and now a member of the faculty of the UST Conservatory of Music. By ED VELASCO
