5 HVIs nabbed in Bataan, Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Five “high-value individuals” were arrested and nearly half-a-million pesos worth of illegal drugs was seized in a series of anti-illegal drugs operations in Bataan and Bulacan.

On March 20, joint operatives from the Orion police and the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit-Bataan Police Provincial Office conducted a buy-bust operation in Bgy. Sto. Domingo, Orion, Bataan.

The operation resulted in the arrest of a 28-year-old suspect identified only as alias “John,” who yielded a large knot-tied plastic bag, two medium heat-sealed sachets containing shabu worth at least P408,000, and the marked money.

Later that day, another drug operation was carried out by personnel from the San Jose Del Monte City police in Bgy. Muzon South, City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan and arrested alias “Jay,” 23; alias “Mark,” 23; alias “Vince,” 22; and alias “Neris,” 25; all residents of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.

Authorities seized from the suspects 1,500 grams of suspected marijuana valued at P300,000, shabu worth P34,000, a pack of rolled dried marijuana, a transparent plastic container containing dried marijuana, a glass container with kush, five heat-sealed plastic sachets of marijuana, one brick of dried marijuana, and various drug paraphernalias.

Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo commended the operatives for their relentless efforts in the campaign against illegal drugs.

“These successful operations highlight our dedication to keeping Central Luzon free from the scourge of illegal drugs. Through strategic, intelligence-driven, and coordinated efforts, we will continue to go after “high-value individuals” involved in the drug trade,” Fajardo said.

“Our personnel remain steadfast in executing these operations with precision and in full adherence to the law,” she added.
