QCPD cops nab 9 crime suspects
NINE crime suspects were arrested by various police stations and units of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) on Wednesday.
District Intelligence Division (DID) policemen arrested Joel Viola, 45, at around 10:00 p.m. along Dahlia Avenue, Brgy. Greater Fairview, Quezon City for rape.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) nabbed Judith Vanzuela Gilo, 44, at 104 Seminary Road, Brgy. Bahay Toro, Quezon City for violation of RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
CIDU operatives also arrested Reydante Sager, 54, at 7:00 p.m. for violation of nine counts of BP 22 (Anti-Bouncing Check Law) and estafa.
La Loma Police Station 1 under P/Lt. Col. Gilbert Cruz arrested Jomar Sanz, 37, for violation of RA 9165.
PS 3 Custodial Facility, Talipapa Police Station 3 served a warrant of arrest to Jowell Nazar, 45, for violation of RA 9165.
Kamuning Police Station 10 under P/Lt. Col. Leonie Ann Dela Cruz arrested Ricardo John Carlos IV, 44, at 12: 20 a.m. for violation of BP 22.
Payatas Bagong Silangan Police Station 13 arrested Bernardo Peligan Salomon, 57, at 8:00 p.m. in front of Kaya Salon in Brgy. West Fairview, Quezon City for violation of RA 9165.
Rolando Santiago, 63, was nabbed at 4:30 p.m. along Gloria 5 Dulo, Brgy. Talipapa, Quezon City for violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act).
