Ecija top cop conducts random inspection of police units ahead of 2025 midterm polls

CABANATUAN CITY – Nueva Ecija top cop Col. Ferdinand D. Germino directed his police and mobile force commanders to maximize police visibility and community engagements in their fight against criminality in preparation for next year’s midterm elections.

Germino, who assumed the top provincial police post on September 3, 2024, has been conducting random visitations and monitoring of police stations province-wide as a pro-active measure to ensure that his men are mentally and physically-capable and in tip-top condition to perform their mandated tasks to serve and protect the people.

On Wednesday, Germino conducted inspections in eight police stations in Rizal, Pantabangan, Talugtug, Carranglan and Lupao, including the San Jose City, Science City of Munoz, and the 2nd Nueva Ecija Provincial Mobile Force Company.

“Ang land area ng probinsya ng Nueva Ecija ay malawak at malaki pero hindi ito magiging balakid para hindi mapuntahan at mabisita ang mga kapulisan na nakadestino sa stations natin katulad ng Carranglan MPS upang malaman ko ng personal ang kanilang kalagayan at moral,” said Germino.

Also on the same day, the Nueva Ecija top cop conducted inspections on the Cabanatuan City Police Station and the Nueva Ecija Provincial Highway Patrol Group in this city.

He directed its commanders to strictly implement the “No Plate No Travel Policy” and intensify the NEPPO’s anti-criminality campaign in preparation also of the start of the filing of certificates of candidacy from October 1-8 for political bets participating in the 2025 midterm polls.
