CAAP commends honest employee at Laguindingan Airport

THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) commended the integrity and professionalism of their personnel who returned a bag containing P50,000 found in a push cart at the arrival area of the Laguindingan Airport on Monday.

Joshua Bustamante, an airport facility cleaner, received recognition for promptly informing the airport management to locate the owner of the bag he found at 7:20 a.m. on Monday.

The bag was claimed by the passenger at after two hours.

The passenger was returning to her hometown in Lanao from Manila when the money was lost.

CAAP Area 10 is pleased with this positive and inspiring story that has reinforced trust and community at Laguindingan Airport.

Area Center 10 manager, engineer Job De Jesus said: “His actions exemplify the highest standards of honesty and service we uphold. Mr. Bustamante’s dedication and values inspire all airport employees, reminding us of the goodness and integrity present in our busy environment.

“We laud him for his honesty and swift action,” De Jesus said.
