More trolleys now at Davao airport
THE Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported that additional improvised trolleys are now available for passengers at the Davao International Airport (DIA).
DIA deployed seven pushcarts at the departure area in addition to the existing 155 push carts. Currently, there are still materials available to fabricate and deploy 20 more units.
CAAP-Davao Area Manager Rex Obcena said the materials cost around P2,000. He added that the majority of the usable pushcarts in DIA are old and have undergone major repairs.
The rollout of additional push carts signifies the airport’s commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and providing comfortable travel for passengers.
