Man killed, woman companion seriously hurt in Pulilan shooting
A MAN was killed while his female companion is in critical condition after a still unidentified suspect on Wednesday shot them in Pulilan, Bulacan.
In a report to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr., the Pulilan police identified the fatality as Marlon Reyes, of Pulilan, Bulacan.
Reyes succumbed to a gunshot wound in the head.
His female companions, Ethel Joy Reyes, of Bgy. Cutcot, Pulilan, Bulacan, was seriously injured.
Police said the suspect wearing red stripes jacket on a black and blue motorcycle shot the victims on Pulilan Regional Road in Bgy. Dampol 1st, Pulilan, Bulacan.
Responding Pulilan Rescue personnel rushed the victims to the Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in Bgy. Longos, Pulilan but the man was declared dead upon arrival.
Authorities are investigating the identity of the gunman and the motive for the attack.
