AS a testament to its commitment to accessible government services, Tingog Party-list proudly inaugurated its second Alagang Tingog Center (ATC) in Negros Occidental, located in Cadiz City.

This collaborative effort marks the dynamic partnership between the Offices of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre, and the Office of the Presidential Assistance in Visayas.

The inauguration, attended by Cadiz City’s Mayor, Hon. Salvador G. Escalante, Vice Mayor Hon. Lilia O. Decolongon, and Cong. Alfredo ‘Thirdy’ Maranon, along with other LGU officials signifies a collaborative link between the local and legislative spheres.

During the inauguration, Cong. Thirdy Maranon spoke of the roots of Tingog Partylist’s assistance, acknowledging the role of his wife, who is a cousin of Cong. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, in driving this cause forward.

Mayor Salvador Escalante Jr. took the opportunity to express gratitude for Tingog’s collaboration in organizing payouts with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), benefiting 1,000 beneficiaries including bedridden patients and cancer patients, all receiving 5,000 PHP each.

Cong. Yedda, known for her dedication to various sectors including senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), and the LGBTQ+ community, extended her thanks for the support she has received. She also acknowledged the unwavering backing of her husband, Speaker Romualdez, and current President Bongbong Marcos.

Highlighting the ATC as a comprehensive resource hub for government services catering to disenfranchised citizens, Rep. Yedda Romualdez noted, “Ang Tingog Centers, kasama kayo lagi”. She encouraged citizens with a confident affirmation, “Hindi kayo magsisisi na binoto niyo ang Tingog Party-list.”
