Tingog Party List inaugurates center in Mandaue City

MANDAUE CITY–The Office of the House Speaker and Tingog Partylist inaugurated another Alagang Tingog Center (ATC) at the Springwood District, Mandaue City, Cebu as part of the Partylist’s flagship program Alagang Tingog.

The new center was opened in partnership with Emmarie “Lolypop” Ouano-Dizon, the representative of the city.

Alagang Tingog aims to create a platform where the less privileged can avail themselves of essential services without the bureaucratic complexities.

By decentralizing these services and ensuring local management through ATCs, the initiative aims to bridge the gap between the government and the marginalized communities.

Aside from the inauguration of the ATC-Mandaue City, the Office of House Speaker and Tingog, in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), also gave cash assistance to Mandaue residents at the Brgy. Opao gym.

More than 1,100 families were able to receive P5,000 cash assistance.

Present at the event were Tingog Partylist Representatives, Yedda Marie K. Romualdez, Jude A. Acidre, Lolypop Ouano-Dizon, Brig. Gen. Anthony Aberin, Director of PNP Regional Office, PCOL. Jeffrey Caballes of Mandaue City Police Office, Usec. Terence Calatrava of the Office of Presidential Assistance for the Visayas, Mayor Jonas Cortes, Board Member Jonkie Ouano, city councilors and chairmen of all barangays in the city.

Opao Brgy. Captain Allan Frias expressed gratitude to the stakeholders for giving assistance to the Mandaue residents.

Lolypop Ouano-Dizon thanked the the House chairperson of Committee on Accounts Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez and the key person of the Junior Chamber International-Philippines Jude Acidre.

She acknowledged that Tingog Partylist is a big help to the city not only because of the cash assistance but also the constituents will be able to seek various help through the ATC.

The representative also thanked the esteemed House Speaker Martin Romualdez for the financial aid.

“We assure you that the leadership of Tingog Partylist will be here to help you,” Ouano-Dizon added.

Jude Acidre said that their Partylist, through Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez, advocated the establishment of ATCs in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao so that the Filipinos can seek assistance from the government whenever they need it.

Nanay Aireen, a Mandaue City resident, thanked Rep. Lolypop and Tingog Partylist for the financial aid.

A person with disability PWD also thanked Tingog for their assistance. Rep. Romualdez also pledged to help again in the coming months.

She said because of the overwhelming support and love from the people, Tingog will undoubtedly win even if the elections will be held tomorrow.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Tingog Partylist remain committed in helping Filipinos in need in the name of public service.

The Alagang Tingog Program, through the establishment of ATCs all over the country and the consistent delivery of services and programs of various government agencies, manifests the advocacy of the Speaker’s Office and Tingog Partylist to the lives of the people.
