Duck raiser drowns in Pampanga swamp
A 22-YEAR-OLD man on Tuesday drowned while going after the ducks he was raising which escaped from their cage in Candaba, Pampanga.
The Candaba police identified the victim as Exison Garsula, a native of Bohol and a resident of Sitio 3, Bgy. Mangga, Candaba.
The victim’s employer Ericson Sto. Tomas, 30, of 226 Banarog, Bgy. Panclara, accompanied by the victim’s uncle, Melvin Garsula, 45, of Sitio 3, Bgy. Mangga, told police that the victim drowned while swimming in a swamp trying to put back the escaped ducks to their cage.
The victim failed to resurface from the swamp. He was discovered lifeless six hours after trying to catch the ducks.
