Maguindanao clash leaves 3 BIFF members dead
THREE alleged members of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters yesterday were killed in an encounter with troopers in Maguindanao.
Western Mindanao Command commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan Jr. said soldiers were patrolling Shariff Saydona Mustapha town when they met around 10 BIFF men headed by Muslimin Amilil at 5:52 a.m. yesterday.
A gunfight ensued.
Found at the clash site were the remains of the BIFF members, three cal. .45 pistols, two hand grenades, eight grams of suspected shabu and P1,000 in cash.
