
8 MWPs, 9 felons collared in Laguna
LAGUNA Police arrested a number 8 most wanted person (MWP) including nine other wanted persons in separate manhunt operations in Laguna, on Tuesday.
Acting Provincial Director of Laguna PCol. Rogarth Campo reported to Calabarzon (Cavite Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) Regional Director, Police BGen. Antonio Candido Yarra for the arrest of rank no. 8 most wanted identified as Angelito Permante, 48, of Bgy. Sta. Monica, San Pablo City.
PLt. Col. Garry C Alegre, chief of police, said that Permante was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of rape with bail recommended of P120,000 issued by Regional Trial Court (RTC), Branch 30, San Pablo City, Laguna and for violation of RA 7832 or Anti-Electricity and Electric Transmission Lines/Materials Pilferage Act of 1994 with recommended bail of P80,000 dated September 23, 2009 issued by RTC, Br. 25, Biñan City, Laguna.
He was ranked no. 8 most wanted person of Police Regional Office (PRO) CALABARZON.
In a separate manhunt operation of San Pablo Police, operatives arrested Nestor Lescano, 58; Joel Exconde, 43; Ramil Reyes, 53; and Noel Guia, 64, all residents of Bgy. San Jose, San Pablo City, Laguna in Bgy. V-B, San Pablo City, by a warrant of arrest for violation of Anti-Gambling Law (PD 1602) issued by the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) in Cities, Br. 3, San Pablo City.
In Santa Rosa, under the direct supervision of PLt. Col. Paulito Macasa Sabulao, chief of police, the suspect Ariel Gallenero Magdadaro, 46, electrical supervisor, of Bgy. Pooc, Sta. Rosa City by a warrant of arrest for violation of RA 7610 or Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act with bail recommended of P80,000 issued by RTC Br. 101 Sta. Rosa City.
The accused is ranked no. 10 most wanted person of Santa Rosa City.
Los Baños Municipal Police Station under the direct supervision of PLt. Col. Louie D. Dionglay, chief of police, arrested Lenie Sagario, 40, at Bgy. Baybayin, Los Baños for Violation of Anti-Gambling Law with bail recommended of P30,000 issued by MTC, Los Baños, Laguna.
While Santa Cruz Police under PLt. Col. Paterno L Domondon Jr., arrested suspects Onofre Escarcha Jr., 32; Jose Cambel, 58; Michael Consolacion, 39, all residents of Bgy. San Juan, Santa Cruz, was located and collared in Bgy. Poblacion 3, Santa Cruz, for the crime of serious physical injuries (RPC Art. 263) with bail recommended of P6,000 issued by MTC, Santa Cruz, Laguna.
The accused are in the temporary custody of police stations while the issuing courts will be informed of their arrest.
PCol.Campo stated, “Ito ang patunay na ang Laguna PNP (Philippine National Police) ay seryoso sa pagsawata sa mga wanted criminals, sa tulong na din ng ating komunidad, mas lalo pa naming papaigtingin ang operasyon laban sa mga nagtatago sa batas at para mabigyan na din ng hustisya ang mga biktima.”
