
3 teen ‘drug mules’ rescued in Bulacan
THREE male teenagers allegedly used as drug couriers were rescued on Wednesday by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region III (PDEA-3) in a buy-bust in Bgy. San Manuel, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan.
The PDEA had launched an entrapment against a certain alias “Abdul” at the corner of Curie and Einstein Sts., Pleasant Hill Subdivision. However, three minors aged 12 and 13 years old surfaced and they were questioned by the agents.
The minors yielded 100 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P680,000.
The minors told police they were instructed by Abdul to deliver the drugs inside a subdivision and promised to pay them for their services.
The minors were turned over to the local DSWD. Abdul, who is at large, will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165.
