PASIG Police confiscated nearly P800,000 worth of illegal drugs from two suspects, including a female tagged as Regional High Value Target and another in separate anti-drug operations in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.

Reports submitted to Eastern Police District (EPD) director PCol. Villamor Tuliao by Pasig Police chief, PCol. Hendrix Mangaldan said the anti-drug operations were conducted in line with the efforts to ensure the city was free of illegal drugs.

According to Mangaldan, suspect alias “Dhats”, 34, of Taytay, Rizal, was arrested by members of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) on Sandoval Avenue, in Bgy Pinagbuhatan, after he handed suspected shabu to a policeman buyer at around 7:30 p.m.

He was listed as a High Value Individual Ranked No. 5 in the National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO).

Recovered from his possession were 15 pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing 62 grams.

At around 11:50 p.m., members of SDEU conducted another buy-bust operation in the same barangay, which resulted in the arrest of alias “Quel”, 52, of Bgy. Pinagbuhatan and her cohort alias “Jenes”, 47 of Bgy. Rosario. “Quel” was tagged No. 9 in NCRPO’s HVI.

A total of P775,000 worth of illegal drugs were confiscated from the three suspects during the two operations, Pasig Police said.
