CABANATUAN CITY – A total of 1,484 police personnel have been deployed while 602 police assistance desks were put up in key areas across Central Luzon as part of the security measures for Ligtas Summer Vacation (SUMVAC) 2025 in line with the directives of Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Francisco D. Marbil, according to Police Regional Office 3 director Brig. Gen. Jean S. Fajardo.

“Our top priority is to prevent crimes and ensure public safety, especially in areas where people gather. We are intensifying our security coverage and assistance efforts to give the public a safe and worry-free summer season,” stressed Fajardo.

To strengthen these efforts, the PRO3 is closely coordinating with government agencies, local government units (LGUs), and advocacy groups, she said.

In this city, Cabanatuan police chief Lt. Col. Renato C. Morales said they are all ready and prepared as public safety and assistance services have already been put in place along the road and several places of convergence such as shopping malls and public markets, including the Central Transport Terminal in Bgy. Barrera District.

The PRO 3 chief said assistance hubs have also been set up along major roads, while the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) has deployed road safety marshals to manage traffic flow and prevent congestion.

Additionally, Advocacy Support Groups and Force Multipliers are increasing police visibility through intensified patrols.

With major events such as town fiestas, the Day of Valor, and Flores de Mayo expected to attract large crowds, the PRO3 urged the public to stay alert and cooperate with security measures.

“Keeping our communities safe is a shared responsibility. We call on the public to be our partners in maintaining peace and order so that everyone can enjoy a secure and memorable SUMVAC 2025,” the PRO3 chief added.
