139 die from COVID in Cavite during 2-week ECQ

IMUS CITY, Cavite – One hundred thirty nine residents died in Cavite during the two week-Enhanced Community Quarantine or (ECQ).

The 139 fatalities were recorded from March 29 to April 11, 2021 based on the Department of Health (DoH) Calabarzon and Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Calabarzon Bulletin

Cavite had a total of 740 fatalities as of April 10, 2021 with 30,901 confirmed cases, 6,974 active, 297 new in seven cities and 16 towns of the province.

Most of the fatalities were from Bacoor, Imus, Dasmariñas, Gen. Trias, Silang and Tanza.

Bacoor City recorded 205 deaths, 6,230 confirmed cases, 1,602 active cases, 227 new cases and 4,423 recovered cases.

The top three Bacoor barangays with the highest death rates are Molino with 329 mortalities, 792 confirmed cases, 197 active cases and 566 recovered; Molino 419 deaths, 611 confirmed cases, 192 active cases and 430 recovered, Molino 2 with 10 death cases, 293 confirmed cases, 58 active cases and 225 recovered.

Of the 1,474 active cases, 250 patients are in quarantine facilities, 68 admitted in different hospitals and 1156 under home quarantine.

Imus City has 4,802 confirmed cases, 971 active cases, 3,780 recovered and 131 deaths as of April 10, 2021.

Of the 971 active cases, 923 are under home quarantine, 31 admitted and 17 in the isolation facility of the LGU.

Barangay Pasong Buaya 2 has a total of 85 cases, Buhay na Tubig has 80 and Carsadang Bago, 55. In 97 Barangays of the locality, 93 have active COVID cases while four villages have zero cases.

Dasmariñas City has 4,730 confirmed cases, 639 active cases, 3,970 recovered and 121 deaths. General Trias City has 3,810 cases, 352 active cases with 54 new cases, 3,398 recovered and 60 death cases as of April 11, 2021. Tanza has 2,155 cases, 545 active, 1551 recovered and 59 deaths, Silang has 1,244 confirmed cases.
