Philippine National Police chief Gen. Benjamin Acorda confers awards to businesswoman Merian Reyes and Quezon police director Col. Ledon Monte during the Police Regional Office 4-A’s celebration of 122nd Police Service Anniversary themed “Nagkakaisang Pulisya at Pamayanan Tungo sa Mapayapa at Maunlad na Bansa” held at Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna. Reyes, who owns Starhorse Shipping Lines which operates 15 South Korean- made cargo and passenger ships, was awarded for her significant and enormous support to Quezon Police Provincial Office, under the leadership of Monte that contributes to the attainment of PRO4-A’s mission and vision. Monte on the other hand was adjudged as the “Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration” in the region.
