103 drug surrenderers finish CBDRP in GenTri
GENERAL TRIAS CITY (GenTri), Cavite – Around 103 drug surrenderers from five villages here in General Trias finished their Community-Based Drug Rehabilitation Program (CBDRP) on June 8, 2023, during a “graduation” rite held at General Trias Cultural and Convention Center in Barangay Sampalucan.
Police Lieutenant Col. Jose Naparato Jr., local police chief here, led the program and attended by Mayor Luis “Jon Jon” Ferrer IV, Vice Mayor Jonas Labuguen, and Councilor Jesseboy Grepo.
Drug surrenderers from Bgy. Pasong Kawayan 1, Pinagtipunan, San Juan 2, Sampalucan, and Tejero were recognized for their commitment to the program and were awarded their respective certificates of completion.
General Trias City Anti-Drug Abuse Council led by Naparato, ensured that the individuals who completed the program will be guided in their eventual reintegration into society.
The local government of General Trias City supported the program of the local police to promote a “drug-free” city, according to Mayor Ferrer.
