Young driver dies as truck hits motorbike
A 21-YEAR-OLD driver on Saturday died when the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a truck in Bgy. Manghinao Proper, Bauan, Batangas.
Bauan Municipal Police Station chief Lt. Col. Louie Donglay identified the fatality as Raeniel Garcia.
Garcia, who was said to be drunk, was traveling on a motorcycle on way to Bauan town proper when hit by the Freightliner truck driven by Joel Nayre, 39, of Masambong, Quezon City from the opposite direction.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Zandro Lacsamana. By Jojo Magsombol
