FOUR notorious drug peddlers, including a woman, were arrested in separate drug sting operation resulting in the confiscation of more than P.1 million worth of shabu in Pasay and Taguig Cities.
Elements of the Pasay Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) arrested Arnold De Asis, 38, near his home on Blk 24, Lot 8, Saint Theresa St., Brgy. 179 at around 2 a.m. on Saturday in buy-bust operation resulting in the confiscation of more or less 2,8 grams of shabu worth P19, 040 and the P200 marked money.
In another operation conducted at around 9:05 p.m. on Friday, elements of the District Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District (DDEU-SPD) arrested Dumayag Alih, 31, of Blk 141, Lot 1, Solomon St., Upper Bicutan, Taguig City after he sold a plastic sachet containing shabu worth P500 to a police poseur-buyer in front of his house.
Lawmen seized from Alih more or less 12 grams of shabu placed in his sling bang with standard drug price of P81,600, the buy-bust money, rifle grenade and M203 grenade.
Southern Police District (SPD) Director P/BGen. Jimili Macaraeg said that at around 8;35 p.m. on Friday, SDEU operatives of Pasay police conducted a buy-bust operation on 2166 Taft Avenue, corner G. Villanuea St., Brgy. 52 that resulted in the arrest of Ben Reyes, 29, resident of Cavite City and Mariloy Español, 45, a resident in the area.
Recovered from the suspects were more or less 2.7 grams of shabu worth P18, 360 and the P200 buy-bust money.
Macaraeg said P119,000,00 was confiscated by policemen from the four arrested drug pushers in three consecutive anti-drug operations.
“Gusto kong pasalamatan ang ating mga kapulisan na nasa likod ng operasyon na ito. Makakaasa kayo na buo ang suporta ng SPD sa inyo, sa atin naman pong mga kababayan na patuloy pa din sa kalakalan ng illegal na droga, we will do everything para hanapin kayo, hindi magtatagal ay mahuhuli din naming kayo at sinisigurado namin na mananagot kayo sa batas,” Macaraeg said.
