Woman, 21, loses cp to snatcher while asleep
LAUR, Nueva Ecija – A single sleeping woman got the biggest “shock” of her life when she woke up and saw an intruder after turning on the lights of their house, which is still being constructed here, police said Tuesday.
Police said the 21-year-old victim, of Purok 3, Barangay Sagana was sleeping in her bedroom when she woke up to go to the comfort room to relieve herself.
However, after turning the lights on, she screamed hard after getting shocked seeing their caretaker alias “Jumong”, of Barrio Site, Bgy. Sagana, inside their house, then immediately fled, holding in his hand her Samsung Galaxy A12 mobile phone worth P14,500.
Police said the incident occurred at 11:00 p.m. on August 25, 2022.
Investigation showed the suspect managed to enter the house, which is still under construction.
Charges are being readied for filing against the suspect, who remains at large.
