WANTED TAIWANESE NATIONAL ARRESTED AT NAIA
A 32-year-old Taiwanese national wanted in his own country for involvement in fraudulent acts has been arrested by Philippine National Police agents at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 1 in Pasay City, officials said on Saturday.
Ye Tian Hao was arrested on the strength of a Bureau of Immigration Mission Order for violating the Philippine Immigration Law following an ‘intelligence packet’ developed’ by members of the PNP Intelligence Group Foreign Intelligence Liaison Division.
According to PNP-IG Officer-in-Charge, Colonel Frankie C. Candelario, members of the IG FILD, the PNP Aviation Security Group and the National Capital Region Police Office’s Regional Special Operations Group made the arrest with the assistance of the BI Fugitive Section Unit.
The official said that the Taiwan Taichung District Prosecutor’s Office has also issued a warrant of arrest against the suspect for fraud. The accused is now in BI custody.
