Wanted person with shotgun held by police
AUTHORITIES arrested a wanted man during a surveillance operation in Lian, Batangas on Saturday.
Lian Municipal police Station chief Capt. Amiel Bernardo M. Sanhi idetified the suspect as Joseph Ramos .
According to the report, the joint forces of Lian MPS and Batangas Provincial intelligence Team (PIT) conducted a surveillance at around 4:15 p.m. in Barangay San Diego, when they spotted the Samanaga carrying a shotgun and standing beside the road.
The police officers immediately approached the suspect and asked for the documents for the said firearms. The suspect presented a xerox copy of the License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF) which showed the vehicle is registered to a certain Dennis llagan.
The police officers arrested the suspect and brought him to the police station for further investigation. Recovered from him were Sulun shotgun and chamber loaded with eight live bullets.
