VP Sara’s threats to kill PBBM, FL, Speaker Romualdez made news worldwide
ALMOST all forms of media, in television, newspapers and online news worldwide, carried the story of Vice President Sara Duterte’s threats last Friday evening to have a “hitman” assassinate President Marcos, his wife Liza, and Speaker Martin Romualdez, in case she will be killed.
Among the news organizations that featured the story of VP’s threats against PBBM were the CNN, Bloomberg, Reuters, Associated Press of America, Agence France Presse of France, ABS, CBS, Fox News, Straight Times of Singapore, Nikkei TV of Japan and other television stations and newspapers in the Middle East and Europe.

In a statement, Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin said that he had already informed
the Presidential Security Group (PSG) about the statements made by the VP and is leaving it up to them to take the necessary action.
In a report of an international media, the PSG had already coordinated with the Philippine National Police and the National Bureau of Investigation on what action to take.
Meanwhile, the Armed Force of the Philippines, through its chief Gen. Romeo Brawner, assured that it will remain impartial and would continue to follow the civilian authority that is headed by President Marcos, who is also their Commander-in-Chief.
