VP Duterte leads 2022 “Brigada Eskwela” nat’l kick-off in Cavite
CAVITE – Vice President (VP) and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sara Z. Duterte led the ceremonial kick-off of the 2022 National “Brigada Eskwela” on August 1, 2022 at Imus Pilot Elementary School in Poblacion, Imus City with Vice Governor Athena Tolentino and Imus City Mayor Alex “AA” Advincula.
“Uneasiness and anxiety continue the threat of COVID-19 pandemic, in addition to other challenges such as floods, earthquakes, and monkeypox – the important thing is that we have the determination to foresee our mission and we all set for the August 22, 2022 opening of classes,” Vice President Duterte said in her speech.
Cavite Vice Gov. Tolentino, representing Governor Jonvic Remulla and Imus City Mayor Advincula welcomed VP Duterte at the said program with this year’s theme, “Brigada Eskwela: Tugon Sa Hamon Sa Pagbabalik Eskwela” in preparation for effective delivery of quality education to each students.
