Vince loveless but gets to bed four women
VINCE Rillon is indeed so fortunate. After starring in two Vivamax films, “Siklo” and “Sisid”, that are both hits on the streaming channel, he is now Lucas, the solo male lead in the trilogy series, “L”, which will premiere on February 27.
He gets to romance all the film’s four leading ladies: Stephanie Raz, Cloe Barreto, Cara Gonzalez and Ayanna Misola. How does he feel about it?
“Siempre po, ang saya-saya ko, kasi I have four different leading ladies at may love scene ako with all of them,” he says. “I really feel lucky na sa’kin napunta ang project na ito. Thanks to Viva at nagtiwala sila sa akin. Si Stephanie ‘yung girlfriend ko, si Lana, na nang-iwan sa akin. Sobrang baliw na baliw ako sa kanya at ‘yung pakikipag-break niya sa akin ang nag-start ng journey ko ng paghahanap ng true love.”
How about the three other girls? “Sa first episode, ‘Larawan’, si Ayanna Misola plays Louise na na-meet ko sa isang art gallery kasi painter ako rito. Sa second episode, ‘Liko’, CLoe Barreto plays Liza, isang bored and lonely wife na na-pickup ko sa kalye. Sa third episode, ‘Lipat’, si Cara Gonzales plays Lucy, a mysterious woman I met while looking for an apartment where I can move. May kakaibang twists sa bawat story nila.”
He also gets to work with three directors: Topel Lee for “Larawan”, EJ Salcedo for “Liko”, and Roman Perez Jr. for “Lipat”.
“Yes, iba-ibang directors na iba-iba rin ang styles. I got to work with Direk Roman Perez before in ‘Siklo’ so more or less, alam ko na ang gusto niya. Now, first time ko naman with Direk Topel Lee and Direk EJ Salcedo at napakasinop nila sa ibinibigay nilang mga eksena sa akin. Tinutukan nila ako at lahat sila hindi nila ako pinababayaan sa atake ko sa role ko. Kasi bale ‘yung character ko ang tumatahi sa koneksiyon ng tatlong stories and I’m so thankful to all of them na they guided me para hindi ako mawala o maligaw kahit iba-iba ang kasama ko sa movie.”
When he does love scenes, doesn’t he get affected by the things he does in bed with his different partner?
“Siempre, I get affected. Dapat lang na may ma-develop na feelings kasi importanteng may maramdaman ako for them para magampanan ko nang maayos ang character ko. Kailangang maging realistic on screen, but it’s as part of my character as Lucas, at hindi mismong ako, si Vince.”
It’s good he has no relationship now who’d get jealous with all the nude love scenes he does in his projects?
“Ang priority ko right now is work muna, so ine-enjoy ko lang ang trabaho ko. I don’t want to be distracted. Kasi sayang naman ang opportunities na ibinibigay sa akin ng Vivamax kung hindi ko pagbubutihin ang trabaho ko rito.”
