VALENZUELA City Mayor Wes Gatchalian led the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Phase 3 of the Laon HOAs Federation Inc. – CMP Vertical Housing Project, as part of the Charter Day Celebration of the city in Barangay Veinte Reales.

Initiated under President Ferdinand Bongbong Marcos Jr.’s Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program, which aims to provide accessible and sustainable housing for Filipino families, the Phase 3 project will initially consist of five three-story buildings with a total of 240 housing units, amounting to P 292,243,645.70 in investment.

Mayor Wes said this marks another step forward in Valenzuela City’s vertical housing efforts, providing decent and secure housing for residents in need. “With the first batch of the first and second phases successfully completed and turned over in 2023 and 2024, respectively, the entire CMP Vertical Housing Project is set to feature 34 buildings with a total of 1,632 housing units upon full development,” the mayor added.

The city is also enhancing accessibility to government services within the community. A 3S Center spanning 2,490 square meters is currently under construction within the housing site, ensuring beneficiaries have convenient access to various local government services without having to leave their residential area.

The groundbreaking ceremony underscores the strong collaboration between the national government and the city government of Valenzuela in addressing housing challenges and promoting inclusive urban development.

NHA inspects Arkong Bato housing project

National Housing Authority (NHA) General Manager Joeben Tai recently inspected the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato Housing Project to ensure quality and on-time completion.

The Disiplina Village Arkong Bato Housing Project is proof of NHA’s commitment to in-city development. The project was intended for families living in dangerous areas, including those along the Tullahan River.

“Alinsunod sa ating programang Build Better More (BBM) Housing at sa direktiba ng ating Pangulong Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. para makamit ang isang Bagong Pilipinas, atin pong sinisigurado na ang mga pabahay na itinatayo ng NHA ay de-kalidad at malapit sa mga pampublikong pasilidad,” GM Tai said.

Immediately following the inspection with Assistant General Manager Alvin S. Feliciano, GM Tai spearheaded the inauguration and ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new NHA-NCR-North Sector Office in Bgy. North Bay Boulevard South, Navotas City.

The new office would make NHA services available to the public, stakeholders, and beneficiaries. Edd Reyes and Jun I. Legaspi
