UniTeam holds separate campaign sorties

WITH only a few weeks left before the actual elections, the UniTeam has decided to split up more often to cover more areas.

This is according to Vice Presidential candidate and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte adding that they want to reach more voters despite the continued high ratings in the surveys.

“We have agreed to split up in our sorties in order to cover more areas of the country,” ‘Mayor Sara said in an interview after the campaign sortie in Antipolo City.

Mayor Sara wooed people in the Rizal province while her running mate former Senator Bongbong Marcos Jr. campaigned in Lanao del Sur and Bukidnon.

Marcos was accompanied by Majority Leader Martin Romualdez and Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda Marie Romualdez in Bukidnon.

The rally in Antipolo was organized by local officials led by Antipolo City Mayor Andrea “Andeng” Ynares, city mayoral candidate Jun Ynares and gubernatorial candidate Nina Ynares.

“Maraming areas ang ‘di po kami magkasama [ni Bongbong] dahil iba-iba po iyung areas na kailangan naming tutukan,” the vice presidential candidate of Lakas and Hugpong ng Pagbabago soid.

Before the Antipolo sortie, Mayor Sara visited Limay, Bataan wherein she got The support and endorsement of local officials and voters.

While both are leading the presidential and vice presidential campaign with a big lead against their rivals, Marcos and Mayor Sara are not taking chances and have adopted the strategy of splitting up in scheduled rallies in order to cover more voters.

The candidates wanted to cover more areas of the country as much as possible wherein both are also campaigning for each other.

“That is the agreement, to cover more areas. We need to split up and collaborate on certain areas,” she further said.
