TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite – Alta D’ Tagaytay Hotel, together with Altaland Developer Inc., formally launched “Project: Angels of Hope” Sunday, November 27, 2022, at the ballroom grounds of Ridge View Subdivision in Barangay Iruhin East here.

Alta D’ Tagaytay General Manager Bernie Corpuz led the program launching and presented the “Tree of Hope,” which is a 20-foot high Christmas tree adorned with garlands and empty sockets – meant to be filled up with lots of bulbs, bringing “life and hopes” to sick children with cancer.

According to Corpuz, hundreds of guests procured the bulbs on-site at the tree lighting ceremony, costing only P300.00 each, with 1,200 sockets reserved to fill it.

“The hotel will request room guests for P50 upon check out, restaurant guests for P20, and banquet guests P5 per guest,” Corpuz explained.

The proceeds will be directly remitted to partner institution Dalta-Jonelta Foundation Incorporated according to Corpuz, during the program.

Dr. Sol Cruz, director of the Dalta-Jonelta Foundation (DJFi), was grateful for all those who supported the Angels of Hope project for patients with cancer.

“I hope through the DJFi; this project will not end so that we can extend the lives of children with cancer,” Dr. Cruz said.

“Angels of Hope” through Alta D’ Tagaytay and Sol Y’ Viento Mountain Resort in KM 55, Makiling Heights, Calamba City, aims to assist children with cancer and their families and the much-needed financial assistance in alleviating the pain and caring for the kids.

As part of their corporate social responsibilities (CSR), it aims to improve their outlook on life by giving them hope and enhancing their social, emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.

Alta D’ Tagaytay and Sol Y’ Viento Mountain Resort are now placing donation boxes at the banquet for guests or individuals willing to be part of their noble mission this holiday season.
