
Torres, Acot to grace 30th Sports on Air
LONG jump and 3×3 basketball will be the main topics in the 30th episode of “Sports On Air” on Friday, July 22.
Four-time Southeast Asian Games gold medalist Marestella Torres and Pinoy Youth Dreamers founder-coach Beaujing Acot will talk about two big-time events aimed at promoting their respective sports.
Torres, once dubbed as the heir-apparent to long jump legend Elma Muros-Posadas, will discuss the Marestella Long Jump Queen Competition scheduled July 30 at the Imus Track and Field Oval.
Acot will talk about the Converge FiberX-PYD Tatluhan to be held at MACS Stadium in Davao City on July 22-24 and St. John’s Institute in Bacolod City on July 29-31.
This will be the 30th episode of “Sports On Air”, the newest and hottest sports talk show on air.
The weekly program is managed by Ed Andaya of People’s Tonight, Ernest Leo Hernandez of SOA, Gerard Arce of Abante, Ivan Saldajeno of Philippine News Agency, Gab Ferreras of Sports Corner, Jean Malanum of Manila Times and Danny SImon of Police Files.
