FIVE wins in a row for TNT Tropang Giga.

The Tropang Giga relied on another near triple-double performance by import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson to roll back Meralco Bolts, 111-104 in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Hollis-Jefferson led the Tropang Giga with 32 points on 10-of-24 shooting on top of 10 rebounds and eight assists in 42 minutes of action for coach Jojo Lastimosa.

Mikey Williams added 25 points, Calvin Oftana had 19 points and Jayson Castro contributed 15 points to power the Tropang Giga to their fifth straight win and 7-1 win-loss record overall.

KJ McDaniels had a double-double performance of 26 points on 10-of-20 shooting and 15 rebounds in a losing effort for Meralco.

Aaron Black added 21 points for the Bolts of coach Norman Black

Chris Newsome had 20 points while Allein Maliksi and Chris Banchero had 11 points each.

Equally mpressive was San Miguel Beer, which held off Barangay Ginebra, 102-99, in a tight and exciting battle between two of the league’s more popular teams.

Cameron Clark topscored with 35 points, including an unmolested shot off an assist by Simon Enciso with 8.8 seconds left as the Beermen escaped with their seventh win in eight games.

CJ Perez added 20 points and seven boards and Jun Mar Fajardo contributed 12 points and 18 rebounds for San Miguel, which moved into a tie with TNT.

Christian Standhardinger led the Kings with 29 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists., while Justin Brownlee was held to 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting.
