TNT downs Blackwater

CAMERON Oliver produced another double-double effort as TNT Tropang Giga outclassed Blackwater Elite, 108-98, in the 2022 PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.

Oliver finished with 38 points and 10 rebounds in 42 minutes of action for the Tropang Giga, who bounced back strong after losing to NLEX 101-110 last Wednesday

Mikey Williams also had a big scoring night for the Tropang Giga, finishing with 28 points on 6-of-12 three-point shooting.

Roger Pogoy and Calvin Oftana contributed 11 points each for TNT, which improved to 3-2 win-loss under coach Chot Reyes.

Cameron Krutwig topscored for Blackwater with 25 points on 12-of-16 shooting on top of 12 rebounds in 40 minutes.

Baser Amer added 16 points for Blackwater, which dropped to 3-4.

Rey Suerte had 15 points and Ato Ular had 13 points and 13 rebounds for coach Ariel Vanguardia.

In the second game, Rain or Shine rolled back Meralco, 113-96, for its third win in six matches.

Import Steve Taylor poured 22 points, Gian Mamuyac and Mike Nieto added 21 points apiece and Andrei Caracut and Rey Nambatac had 10 each for the E-Painters, who boosted their chances of making it to the playoffs.

Johnny O’Bryant had 30 points, seven rebounds and five assists for Meralco, which dropped to 1-5.
