TINGOG Partylist, led by Reps. Yedda K. Romualdez and Jude Acidre, in close collaboration with Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, has reaffirmed its dedication to public service during the congressional recess through initiatives focused on economic aid, healthcare access, educational support, and disaster response.

Tingog Partylist’s flagship program is the establishment of Tingog Centers, which recently expanded with four new locations in Santa Catalina, Ilocos Sur and in the municipalities of Rosales, Malasiqui, and San Carlos in Pangasinan, increasing the total to 145 nationwide.

These centers play a crucial role in connecting residents to government resources and essential services, including healthcare assistance, legal aid, educational support, and livelihood programs.

In line with its commitment to delivering financial aid, Tingog Partylist facilitated the government’s Ayuda sa Kapos ang Kita Program (AKAP) to seven areas: Caloocan City, San Juan City, Santa Catalina in Ilocos Sur, Tayug and San Carlos in Pangasinan, Manila, and Zamboanga City, benefiting approximately 14,550 individuals. Additional assistance was provided through relief payout activities in Pasig and San Juan, reaching 4,511 beneficiaries.

Healthcare has also been prioritized through Tingog’s “Kalusugan Karavan,” which provided essential medical services to over 5,626 individuals across communities, including Quezon City, Caloocan, Taguig, Malabon, Marikina, Pampanga, and Pangasinan.

This mobile health initiative was designed to enhance healthcare accessibility directly for those in need, reflecting Tingog’s commitment to responsive and comprehensive healthcare solutions.

Education remained Tingog’s focal point, as AICS Educational Assistance was distributed to students in Masinloc, Botolan, and Iba in Zambales, easing the financial burdens on families. The Tulong Dunong Program (TES-TDP) was also extended to support students in Pangasinan and La Union. Additionally, the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) was implemented to assist fisherfolk affected by the West Philippine Sea situation, fostering economic opportunities and community resilience.

In response to Typhoons Julian and Kristine, the Office of the Speaker facilitated the release of financial aid, while Tingog Partylist distributed relief packs to 117,360 beneficiaries across affected communities.

These combined efforts reached 33 districts nationwide, including areas across Northern Luzon, the Bicol Region, CALABARZON, and MIMAROPA, emphasizing a strong commitment to providing timely support during crises.

Alongside these efforts, Tingog Partylist launched “Tingog ng Kagandahan,” a mobile salon service that reached 1,600 individuals in Quezon City, Marikina, and Muntinlupa, offering free grooming services to underserved communities. Additionally, Tingog organized “Tingog ng Tanghalan,” an inter-barangay singing contest held in Quezon City and Muntinlupa, fostering community spirit and showcasing local talent.

Acidre, Chairperson of the House Committee on Overseas Workers Affairs, welcomed 950 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) repatriated from Lebanon.

This initiative, aligned with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directives and supported by the Department of Migrant Workers and the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, underscores Tingog Partylist’s unwavering dedication to the welfare of OFWs.

As Congress prepares to reconvene, Tingog Partylist reaffirms its commitment to addressing the needs of Filipino families and communities.

By implementing a comprehensive suite of programs that cultivate economic opportunities, improve healthcare access, and enhance community resilience, Tingog Partylist remains committed to a legislative agenda grounded in service.

“Throughout this recess, our priority has been to bridge the gap between legislative duties and direct public service, particularly for those affected by recent natural disasters and economic challenges,” stated Rep. Yedda Romualdez. “We remain steadfast in our collaboration with key government agencies and the Office of the Speaker to ensure timely assistance, guided by our values of inclusivity and compassion.”

Acidre remarked, “Our work does not end in Congress. This recess has provided us with the opportunity to connect directly with our constituents, ensuring our legislative agenda addresses the immediate needs of the communities we serve.”

As Tingog Partylist looks to the future, it remains devoted to uplifting the lives of every Filipino it serves. “Dahil ang Tingog Partylist ay patuloy na makikinig at magsisilbi.”
