TINGOG Party-list, Office of Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez, and Caloocan 1st District Councilor Vince Hernandez on Monday morning distributed packs of fish to give relief to 1,000 families in Bagumbong, Caloocan City.
Also known as “Tingog ISDA best”, the program aims at providing immediate food assistance to families in need in Metro Manila.
Tingog Party-list Reps. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez and Jude A. Acidre gave emergency food relief to underprivileged communities, allowing them to meet their basic needs for the day as well as promote health consciousness through the program.
Also present during the program was comedy star Giselle Sanchez who led the zumba dance prior to the fish distribution.
Caloocan residents on the other hand thanked Tingog Party-list for their initiative.
“Maraming salamat Tingog Party-list, malaking tulong na po ito sa amin, sana’y patuloy lang po kayo sa mga programa ninyo para sa amin,” one resident said.
Moreover, the Tingog Party-list assured the residents that they would work on a long-term solution to alleviate hunger in the country.
