Thousands of Sharonians forsaking Leni
THOUSANDS of Sharonians are threatening to withdraw their support for trailing presidential bet Leni Robredo after delivering a direct slight to her running mate Kiko Pangilinan, who is the husband of their beloved idol megastar Sharon Cuneta.
“Iyong pagiging talipandas ni Leni ang lalong magpapalubog sa kanya. Kaya lang naman kami nag-Leni kasi dahil kay Sharon. Tapos ngayon, aapihin pa niya si Sir Kiko. Ang kapal ng mukha niya,” a fan of the megastar said.
The fan further threatened that since the Yellows, now masquerading as Pink, are fond of practicing the so-called “cancel culture,” the thousands of Sharon fans will also make Robredo feel how it is to be cancelled.
“Ekis siya ngayon. Kanya na iyang pink niya dahil alam naman namin na hindi siya pink kundi dilaw na dilaw siya. Niloloko na niya ang taumbayan, pati si Kiko Pangilinan ay harap-harapan din niyang niloloko,” said Aling Stella, a nail dresser who has been a Sharon fan for decades.
Robredo’s lack of effort to explain to various groups, particularly to the local officials of Eastern Samar, that she has no intention to withdraw from her tandem with Pangilinan to make way for a new tandem with Inday Sara Duterte has become pronounced.
“Kung hindi ba naman maldita, panay atake niya kay President Duterte tapos ngayon payag siyang maka-tandem si Sara kahit masaktan pa si Kiko,” make-up artist Bruno.
Sharon’s fans empathize with their idol, whom they know, had a hard time in agreeing with Pangilinan’s decision to run for as Robredo’s running-mate knowing that she would incur the ire of her relatives because he would be running against Senate President Tito Sotto, who is her mother’s brother-in-law.
Sotto’s wife, Helen Gamboa, treats Sharon like her own daughter that whenever she and Pangilinan have some marital spat, the megastar stays in the Sotto couple’s house and spend hours expressing her sentiments to Helen.
“Tapos ngayon ipinagpalit si Leni sa pamilya nina Tito Sen ay pagtataksilan naman ng Lenlen na iyan. Ang sama-sama niya,” a certain Aling Flor said in disgust.
The megastar’s fans are now creating a viber group to discuss how they will campaign against Robredo.
“Hindi lang boycott kundi ipaaalam namin sa taumbayan na wala siyang karapatang manalo ngayong eleksiyon,” a Sharon-supporter named Danny vowed.
