Teen reported missing in Batangas

POLICE said the other day that a 16-year-old student was reported missing after she left home in Lipa City, Batangas.

Case officer P/Cpls Christal C. Gaballo and Madilene C. Landicho identified the missing person as Stephanie Pasajol y Dimayuga, single, Grade 10 student, presently residing at Purok 2, Bgy. Malitlit.

Mrs. Lorilyn Pasajol y Dimayuga, mother of the missing person, personally appeared at Lipa CPS on July 11 around 1 p.m. and reported that her daughter Stephanie was missing.

Accordingly, the teenage girl left their house at about 5 a.m. of the same date and failed to return home as of this date.

Said missing person stands 5’6″ in height, with fair complexion, medium built and long black hair.

Meanwhile, a 72-year-old woman was found floating lifeless on the shoreline in Bgy. San Miguel, Bauan, Batangas the other day.

Case officers PEMS Raymond D. Matibag and Pat Enrique Efren L. Serwelas Jr. identified the fatality as Maria Ligaya Balitaan y Evangelista, widow, of Aplaya, this town.

A telephone call from an official of Bgy. San Miguel was received by Bauan town police station personnel informing them that a lifeless body was found on the shoreline of the barangay waters.

Investigators disclosed that the victim was found lifeless and possibly drowned while swimming.

According to the relative of the victim, the latter went swimming at about 10 a.m.

An hour after, the relative noticed that the old woman never returned to her home so they reported to the barangay officials.

They conducted a search and at about 5 p.m. on the same date, the body was found in Bgy. San Miguel by Reyneil Sanggalang and Gerald Rondina while swimming.
