Agad nagpahayag si Taylor Swift ng kanyang all-out support sa kandidatura ni US Vice-President Kamala Harris at ka-tandem nitong si Toni Walz matapos mapanood ng pop superstar ang presidential debate sa pagitan ng dating US President Donald Trump (na muling tumatakbo sa pagka-presidente under Republican Party) at US VP Harris last September 10, 2024.

“I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” post nito sa kanyang IG account.

Sa loob lamang ng 24 matapos ng kanyang announcement ay halos 340,000 tao ang bumisita agad sa voter registration website, vote.gov, gamit ang custom link created and shared by Swift.

Sinuportahan din ni Swift ang kandidatura nung 2020 sa pagkapangulo ng nakaupong US President Joe Biden in 2020.

Tinawag ni Swift si Kamala Harris as “steady-handed and gifted leader”.

Ang post ni Swift ay sinamahan niya ng litrato kasama ang kanyang alagang pusa.

“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight, if you haven’t already, now is a great time to do your research on the issues at had and the stances these candidates take on the topics that matter to you the most. As a voter, I make sure to watch and read everything I can about their proposed policies and plans for this country,” part ng kanyang mensahe.

“Recently I was made aware that AI of `me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears about AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation. It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth,” aniya.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe we need a warrior to champion them. I think she is steady-handed, gifted leader and I believe we can accomplish so much more in this country if we are led by calm and not chaos. I was so heartened and impressed by her selection of running mate @timwalz, who has been standing up for LGBTQ+ rights, IVF, and a woman’s rights to her town body for decades,” dugtong pa niya.

Ito ngayon ang disadvantage ng AI (artificial intelligence) na nagagamit sa masamang paraan laluna sa panahon ng election.

Joe Biden, naka-suporta rin sa Harris-Walz tandem ang dating US President na si Barack Obama, ang American actor-filmmaker na si George Clooney, ang singer, songwriter at actress na si Olivia Rodrigo, ang American singer-songwriter, record producer and actor na si John Legend, ang American film director, producer, screenwriter, actor at author na si Shelton Jackson `Spike’ Lee at marami pang iba. Pero sa endorsement alone ni Taylor Swift ay sobrang napakalaking tulong na ito sa tandem nina Harris at Walz sa pagka-President at Vice-President ng Amerika.
