
T2000, Dekada 90 gun for second wins
DEFENDING champion T2000, Team 80s and Dekada Nobenta will gun for their second wins as hostilities resume in the ERJHS Alumni Sports Club Summer League 2025 at the Barangay N.S. Amoranto coveree court in Quezon City.
T2000, with playing coach Jerome Nell at helm, will lean on brothers Jeff and Mark Caguisa and Chris and Jay Santiago against debuting Batch 2000 of Rikki Catahan and Vic De Guzman at 9:30 am.
T2000 defeated Batch 2003, 97-74, in the opener last week.
Team 80s of coach Arnold Tanare, on the other hand, willl rely on Joseph Realista, Ronald Carrillo, Voltaire Penaga, Adonis Geolin and Mike Gomez when it squares off with Batch 89 at 11a.m.
Team 80s is buoyed by a convincing 76-46, win over Batch 90s behind Gomez’s all- around game.
Batch 89 will pin its hopes on Alvin Tanare, Jonn Cano and Benjamin Baet as it seeks to bounce back from its opening-day loss to Dekada Nobenta
Dekada Nobenta will battle Batch 90’s at 8 a.m. while Batch 2003 will face Roberto Castor Rover Scouts.
Headed by Robert Capistrano, Dekada Nobenta defeated Batch 89, 57-52.
Batch 2003 will be bannered by Eduard Cabaccang, Dante Cabanting and Richard Galicia.
RCRS Sports will parade Anthony Calumayan, Alexis Porlayagan, Harold Ostonal, Mark Justin Aznar and Carmelo and Nash Monterey.
Commissioner is Richard Nell while Vic DeGuzman, Michael Del Rosario and Joel Macatuno lead the technical committee.
The tournament is supported by Batch 85 Sports Club, Wang’s Ballclub, Kelme Basketball, Jesse Care Pest Management Service, Brgy Paang Bundokchairman William Chua, Brgy NS Amoranto chairman Ato De Guzman, Councilor TJ Calalay and Congressman Arjo Atayde. AA
