
T2000 bags Battle of the Generations crown
T2000 fulfilled its date with destiny by winning its second straight title in the 2025 ERJHS Alumni Battle of the Generations 3.0 basketball championship.
Led by Joseph Bognot and brothers Mark and Jeff Caguisa, T2000 brought down Dekada Nobenta, 95-84, to capture the championship at the Barangay N.S. Amoranto covered court in Quezon City.
Bognot, who was later named as Most Valuable Player (MVP), scattered 20 points in another brilliant, all-around performance that enabled T2000 of playing-coach Jerome Nell to snatch the victory.
“We’re very happy to win another title in our alumni tournament. The boys worked very hard for it,” said Nell.
M.Caguisa, one of the team’s most dependable scorers, fired 29 points while J.Caguisa, who took over in the final quarter, scored 17 points for T2000.
Chris Santiago added 16 points for T2000, which is being supported by CE Brothers Sports Clothing.
Wilson Punzal and Christopher Secretario led the way for Dekada Nobenta, which stayed in the fight in the third quarter onlybto fadr in the end.
Punzal topscored with a game-high 22 points, followed by Secretario eith 20 points
ERJHS Alumni Sports Club basketball committee chairman Albert Andaya of Batch 85 and commissioner Richard Nell of Batch 93 awarded the trophies to the winners.
The tournament is supported by Batch 85 Sports Club, Wang’s Ballclub, Kelme Basketball and Ping-Ping Lechon. AA
