TIAONG, Quezon – A margin of victory of around 400,000 votes is in the offing for the UniTeam tandem of former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte in this province this May.

Thus, said Quezon Gov. Danilo Suarez after he witnessed the UniTeam mini rally attended by at least 12,000 people inside and outside the Tiaong Convention Center.

“I can see his sincerity. He wants to do something, maybe go back to the glory of his father,” Suarez, who introduced Marcos in the event, in a chance interview following the successful rally.

During the event–which attracted another massive crowd–Suarez appeared to have felt the pulse of his province as well as Marcos’s’ sincerity to help them.

With this, the governor and former House Minority Leader confidently said that Quezon will carry both Marcos and Duterte to victory on May 9, 2022.

“Siguro mga 300,000 to 400,000 kayang ilamang ni BBM, Bongbong-Sara. Malaki, malaki. I assure you this will be an unprexedented election,” Suarez said.

“Matagal na ako sa politika basta’t kung ano man ang kanilang, tulad nito, unprecendent ito. Buhay na buhay ang crowd di ba?” he added, referring to the rally.

Marcos, standard-bearer of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP); and Duterte, chairperson of Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (CMD) received the two loudest cheers during their respective introductions.

Their respective speeches were also well-received as local residents chanted their names.

Duterte also delivered a separate message of hope, unity, and patriotism before more than 7,000 women in the event organized by Women For Sara (W4S) at Sariaya Sports Complex.

Another huge crowd greeted Marcos and Duterte during the UniTeam grand rally at Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

Organizers estimated that at least 20,000 supporters have attended the event, including people who patiently assembled outside the venue.

Marcos and Duterte thanked the Suarez family for a very warm welcome extended to them and UniTeam senatorial candidates.
