Speaker Ferdinand Martin G. Romualdez yesterday met Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) General Manager Mel Robles and Philippine Medical Association (PMA) President Dr. Hector Santos Jr. to agree on using the state charity agency funds to pay doctors’ fees. Robles and Santos responded to the request of Speaker Romualdez, who acted on the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” R. Marcos Jr. to explore ways to ensure improved healthcare delivery for Filipinos. Deputy Majority Leader for Communications and ACT-CIS Partylist Rep. Erwin Tulfo facilitated the meeting. House Senior Deputy Speaker and Pampanga Rep. Aurelio “Dong” Gonzales Jr., House Committee on Appropriations Chairman and Ako Bicol Partylist Rep.
