On INC head’s 67th birthday

Romualdezes thank INC head for malasakit, wish him healthy long life, more happiness

SPEAKER Martin G. Romualdez of Leyte and Tingog party-list Rep. Yedda Marie K. Romualdez on Sunday wished Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo a “healthy long life, more success, and happiness” as he celebrates his 67th birthday this Monday.

“We join the Iglesia Ni Cristo and the entire world in extending to you, Ka Eduardo Manalo, our sincerest and warmest greeting on the celebration of your 67th Birth Anniversary this year. Kaisa po kami sa pagpapasalamat sa ating Panginoon sa mahaba at makabuluhang buhay na ipinagkaloob Niya sa inyo,” Speaker Romualdez said.

Rep. Yedda Romualdez, chairperson of the House committee on accounts, thanked Bro. Manalo for his “kind heart” in serving God and the country with great passion and “malasakit” (compassion).

“I wish Bro. Manalo a healthy long life,” Rep. Yedda Romualdez said, crediting Bro. Manalo for the good character formation of the Filipinos, especially the youth.

She recalled anew that Bro. Manalo has been helping less fortunate people through INC’s spiritual programs, and “malasakit” (compassionate) livelihood and assistance programs.

Speaker Romualdez said Bro. Manalo will continue to succeed as INC leader in the fulfillment of his aspirations for the Filipinos as one of the country’s moral compasses.

“We pray that the Lord pour in His blessings of good health to you and your loved ones. May He keep you safe and strong at all times. May He also give you His guidance as you shepherd your flock to do our Lord’s will. We wish to extend to you, Ka Eduardo, our deepest appreciation and gratitude for all the good work you have done for the good of the Filipino nation. On this joyful occasion, we also wish the Iglesia ni Cristo all the best as you spread the faith in all corners of the earth. May the Lord continue to bless your efforts in spreading the good news of salvation. Rep. Yedda Romualdez said Filipinos are “so fortunate to have Iglesia ni Cristo which is consistently behind productive endeavors for the poor.”

“Happy birthday INC Executive Minister, Brother Eduardo V. Manalo. We are so blessed that your leadership has been consistently behind humanitarian activities nationwide and in some parts of the world,” she said.
