SPD cops nab 83 crime suspects

SOUTHERN Police District (SPD) policemen arrested 83 crime suspects in Metro Manila in its latest Warrant Day last Friday, the Journal Group learned Monday.

According to SPD director Brigadier General Mark D. Pespes, their 11th Warrant Day from 12:01 a.m. to 12 midnight of Friday led to the capture of those wanted persons.

“These arrests represent a significant step forward in ensuring that those with pending warrants are brought to justice and held accountable for their actions,” said the official.

In a report to National Capital Region Police Office director Major Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., the SPD director said Las Piñas City Police arrested four suspects, Makati, three; and two each by by the Muntinlupa and the Parañaque police.

On the other hand, the 31 crime suspects were arrested by the following units: Makati, Taguig and Las Piñas each with 5; Pasay with 7; Muntinlupa with 6; and Parañaque with 3.
