SPARKLE GMA Artist Center presented three of their Sparkada boys to the press: Anjay Anson, Kim Perez and Jeff Moses. Anjay Anson just came from the hit drama series, “Widow’s Web”, where he played Carmina Villarroel’s ill fated son. The episode where he died rated very high and because of his exposure in it, people can now recognize him.

“I really enjoyed the experience of working with Miss Carmina kasi ang bait niya,” he says. “She shared many good insights about showbiz from which I really learned a lot.”

He is now also a guest host in “Unang Hirit”. “I get to work with another Sparkada talent, Roxie Smith, and I really enjoy the unexpected segments na ibinibigay nila sa amin. It helps hone my hosting skills.”

What would be his dream project? “I’d like to do a lead role in a romantic movie like the ones my idol does, si Alden Richards.”

Has he been bashed by netizens? “Yes, all looks lang daw po ako. Kulang sa acting. Nasaktan din ako but I just treat as motivation para mas mag-aral akong mabuti sa acting workshops namin.”

Kim Perez is glad that he will be paired with another Sparkada talent, Roxie Smith, in a new teleserye.

“But we’re not allowed yet to reveal the details, so later na lang po,” he says. “Basta we auditioned po for it and we’re happy na kami ang napili. It’s a heavy drama so we’re really preparing for it.”

How will he describe himself? “Masayahin po ako, adventurous, mahilig gumala. I’m also very dedicated sa work ko. I’m really thankful to GMA for trusting me and giving me a good role in a new teleserye.”

Has he been bashed by netizens? “Opo, they say ordinary raw ako, I’m just one of those lang. Pero nakakatuwa rin kasi may mga nagtatanggol naman. Sabi, leading man material ‘yan, talented ‘yan, kaya abangan nyo yan. So salamat po sa mga nagtatanggol sa’kin dyan.”

Jeff Moses says that he is the baby boy in their group. Just like Kim Perez, he has also been cast in a new series but cannot divulge the details yet.

“I’m just elated to be a part of it and I’m happy na my co-sparkadas now also have acting projects of their own,” he says. “But my dream is sana bigyan kami ng chance to have a youth show na lahat kami nandun, like TGIS. It’ll be very exciting kasi close na kaming lahat, we’re friends. The workshops we attended really help to train us at para mas makilala namin ang isa’t isa.”

Has he experienced getting negative comments? “So far, wala pa po. Sa social media accounts ko, may shirtless photos ako at videos na sumasayaw ako. The comments say na nagagandahan sila sa katawan ko and I appreciate that. I really work hard to maintain my physique and I’m glad they like it.”
