GMA Artist Sparkle had a special presscon for ten of their talents in Sparkada. There are seven girls and three boys. The girls are Roxie Smith, Kirsten Gonzales, Lauren King, Tanya Ramos, Cheska Fausto, Vanessa Pena and Caitlyn Stave, The boys are Anjay Anson, Kim Perez and Jeff Moses.

All of them are quite good looking and full of promise. So far, they have a pleasant experience with other Kapuso stars and production personnel they’ve met in shows where they were featured, like “All Out Sundays”.

Their common observation is that: “Akala namin, suplado sila pero mababait pala sila, tutulungan ka nila, they won’t make you feel like that you’re a newcomer or an outcast.”

Some of them are now included in the new series of GMA based on Wattpad stories. The first is “Caught in His Arms” that star the Team Jolly of Allen Ansay and Sofia Pablo who just did “Raya Sirena”. So we will write first about those who are included in “Caught in His Arms”: Kirsten, Caitlyn, Tanya and Cheska.

So how is their experience in taping their first show?

Kirsten: “Kinabahan ako kasi nga first show ko. It’s good kasama ko ang ilan sa Sparkada family namin, so I felt na hindi ako nag-iisa. Ang gaganda ng locations so I’m really proud of this show.”

Caitlyn: “I was also really nervous kasi first time for me to act. But I love being with my fellow Sparkadas as I feel we’re growing together in our careers. I feel really grateful that the staff understands we’re all new in the game.”

Tanya: “I was shaking sa first taping namin as I was wondering how I will portray my role, but the production staff really helped us, comforted us. And also Sofia and Allen, the lead stars, they were so friendly and didn’t make us feel na baguhan kami.”

Cheska: “First project ko and I realized nakakapagod pala kasi we taped several sequences a day, but I also realized that I genuinely love what I’m doing. Being with my Sparkada friends, grabe naging bonding namin. The experience is something I will treasure forever.”

What kind of show would they like to star in and who do they want to be paired with?

Kirsten: “Ako, horror or thriller. I want to play the killer, or even the victim, mahilig kasi ako sa horror films. Okay lang sa’kin to be paired with any of the Sparkada boys as they’re all supportive and easy to work with.”

Caitlyn: “I’d like to a romcom movie na maraming pa-cute and kilig moments. As for my ka-love team, okay rin sa’kin kahit na sino sa Sparkada boys because I’m already comfortable with all of them .”

Tanya: “I’d also like to do something light, like a romcom, yung bagay sa age namin as teenagers. Okay rin sa akin makapareha kahit sino, basta I’m comfortable with him.” Cheska: “I just want to do more projects, kahit movies or teleseryes, bahala na ang GMA. As for a ka-love team, si Raheel Bhyria sana, na member din ng Sparkada.”

How do they deal with negative comments?

Kirsten: “I’m lucky wala pa akong negative comments yet, only positive ones about my looks and it’s flattering and heartwarming. But if I’d get negative comments na constructive naman, I wouldn’t mind it at all.”

Tanya: “Siguro because we’re new, mas maraming positive comments. Kung may negative man, I will just remember them to prove them wrong.”

Caitlyn: “I’m also thankful that I get mostly positive comments. Kung may negative man, I don’t really care.”

Cheska: “I treat comments as a chance to improve. It’s good Sparkle really trains us in all aspects, like singing, dancing, acting, hosting. And they’re really training us continuously to be the best in our craft.”

They were flattered when “Caught in Your Arms” stars Allen and Sofia said they’re all talented, they show passion in what they’re doing and it looks like they’ll all succeed. Watch them all in “Caught in Your Arms” to be shown in October.
