PUSPUSAN ang isinagawang paghahanda ngayon ng grupo ni Anakalusugan Representative at Malayang Quezon City Chairperson Mike Defensor para ilunsad ang malawakang mobilisasyon bilang pagpapakita ng suporta sa kauna-unahang State of the Nation Address (SONA) ng Pangulong Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. ngayong Lunes.

Tinawag na “SONA All: Kilos-Suporta para sa Pagbangon at Pagkakaisa,” ang mobilisasyong ito ay maglalatag ng isang masaya at makabuluhang ‘street party’ sa tapat ng President Corazon Aquino Elementary School sa IBP Road, Batasan Hills, ng nasabing lungsod.

“Isa itong pagdiriwang at umpisa ng rekonsilasyon at pambansang pagkakaisa ng sambayanan sa ilalim ng pamamahala ni President Bongbong Marcos,” ani Defensor.

Sinabi ni Defensor na sa dami ng problemang kinakaharap ngayon ng bansa, tama ang panawagan ng Pangulong Marcos noong nakalipas na kampanya na pagkakaisa ang magiging sagot para sama-sama nating suungin ang hamon ng lipunan. “The Herculean task of putting back the economy on track and returning to the new normal will require the cooperation of all. We wanted to show PBBM that Filipinos will rally behind him so he could achieve that task for the progress of our nation,” sabi nito sa hiwalay na press statement.

Ilan sa mga nagpahayag ng suporta ay sina Senator Ramon ‘Bong’ Revilla, Jr., Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco, Mayor Along Malapitan (Caloocan City), Emi Calixto (Pasay City), Jeanie Sandoval (Malabon), Wes Gatchalian (Valenzuela City), gayundin si Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Sec. Benhur Abalos, Jr.

Kabilang din sina Malayang QC president Edwin Rodriguez at dating QC Councilor Winnie Castelo bilang ‘overall organizers’ ng nasabing pagtitipon.

Sinabi ni Rodriguez na ang pagtitipong ito ay pagpapakita na rin ng maigting na suporta para sa pamahalaan ng Pangulong Marcos.

Pasasalamat din aniya ito para sa 31 milyong Filipinos na bumot kay PBBM.

Tatlong Giant LED monitors ang ilalagay sa ‘strategic areas’ Batasan Road.

Ilan sa mga bandang magpe-perform ay ang Repakol, Inner Voices, Arriba, Plethora, at iba pang surprise celebrity guests.

The organizers sought the permission of the Quezon City government to use a portion of the Batasan Road for the festivities.

“Since this is a celebratory party, we see no impediment for our request for a local government permit,” ani Rodriguez.

“We assure our authorities that we will observe Covid-19 health protocols like face mask wearing and physical distancing during the event,” sabi pa niya.

Sa dokumentong nakuha ng ‘UNCOVERED,’ nabatid na nakakuha ng permit ang grupo nina Defensor at Rodriguez.

“In line with this, the city interposes no objection on the aforemention activity provided that all guidelines imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force of the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases will be strictly observed and that the normal flow of traffic will not be impeded during the entire activity as determined by the Task Force for Transport and Traffic Management, Quezon Cityy Police District and the Metro Manila Development Authority and provided further that your planned activities and agenda shall only be conducted at the IBP Road near corner Sinagtala Street from 12:00 noon to 6:00 pm,” sabi ni (Ret) Brig. Gen. Elmo DG San Diego sa kanyang sulat kay Rodriguez.

Dahil dito, naniniwala tayong magiging matagumpay ang naturang event, higit lalo ay personal din ang ginagawang pakikipag-ugnayan ni QCPD chief Brig. Gen. Remus Medina.
