Smooth implementation of Mandanas Ruling pushed
BATANGAS — The continued intensive focus on the proper implementation of the Mandanas Ruling was discussed at the 11th General Assembly of the League of Provinces of the Philippines (LPP) held on June 17, in Manila.
Gov. Dodo Mandanas urged fellow governors to give the incoming Marcos administration a chance to continue the smooth and commenced implementation of the Mandanas Supreme Court Ruling, which stipulates a higher share of local government units in all tax revenues.
The members of the organization united in giving confidence to the next new government leadership, which is a sign of solidarity and a demonstration of the LPP’s continued support of the LPP’s goal of raising the funding of local governments in the country so that meet the appropriate services in their constituents.
